Our next GIFT gathering!

Sunday, March 25 beginning with a special 10 a.m. mass

Our first GIFT gathering on December 3, 2006 was a great success. Over 150 young and old got together in Garvey Hall to grow in our understanding of Advent and its meaning for our lives as a faith community.

We are now getting ready for our Lenten GIFT!

If you haven’t yet heard about or experienced GIFT, the name itself stands for “Growing In Faith Together.” It is the name of our new, intergenerational faith formation program for ALL people of ALL ages.

Our next GIFT gathering will take place on Sunday, March 25 beginning with a special 10 a.m. mass. (The 10 a.m. mass will be the only mass celebrated that Sunday; 5 p.m. Saturday mass will occur as regularly scheduled). The title for the event is “Living the Paschal Mystery: the Life, Death, and Resurrection of Jesus Christ.”

The Paschal Mystery (the death and resurrection of Jesus) is central to our faith. We will explore our celebration this mystery and its application to our lives in and through a deeper exploration of the Triduum (Holy Thursday, Good Friday and Easter)—our holiest of days.

We are aiming to make the event both youth and adult friendly. It should be a wonderful learning event which will enable us to live our Easter faith more fully…together.
