Getting Married?

We can help you prepare to celebrate your marriage.  The preparation process involves documentation, liturgy preparation, classes, reading and discussion with Fr. Leo.  Since this takes a while we need you to begin your preparation six months prior to your wedding date.  For your wedding to take place in our community you need to be a registered member of the parish.  If you are a member of our community and plan to celebrate your marriage at another parish, you will need to speak the priest who will witness your marriage to ask what he will accept from our program. 

If you have been married before, we will need to have your first marriage declared null by the Archdiocese.  If it is a Lack of Form case it may take a couple weeks after we have the proper documentation.  However, if your first marriage was celebrated in the Church or with the permission of the Church, we will need to proceed with the longer annulment process which could take up to a year or more.
