Food Shelf

We take up a collection at mass the second Sunday of every month for the food shelf at The Church of Gichitwaa Kateri in South Minneapolis.  The Indian people of South Minneapolis began a regular worship service in the mid 1970's to create an environment where everyone was welcome and where religious needs could be met in a respectful way honoring the various tribal religious traditions.  The food shelf is available to assist families at the time of death of a loved one.
