Father Leo Schneider

Ordained in 1983, Fr. Leo joined the Holy Name community in August of 2000.  A graduate of St. Meinrad School of Theology, Fr. Leo also holds a Masters in Music degree from the University of Minnesota.  Fr.'s hobbies include playing and making violins.

Formerly a member of Bishop Pates' steering committee on Evangelization, Fr. Leo has a passion for the underlying spirituality of Evangelization.  Evangelization is coming to know the Lord personally through sacraments, prayer and study, letting that relationship transform us through on-going conversion, leading us to witness and proclaim that relationship through lives lived in loving service.

Fr. Leo's focus in ministry is prayer, liturgy and preaching.  He also engages in hospital ministry through the HealthEast Care System.
