Tell Your Story...
In the year 2016 we will celebrate our centennial anniversary as a faith community, rooted here in South Minneapolis. We will begin planning for that centennial year soon and in anticipation of the celebration(s) and event(s) we would like to start creating a "Memory Lane", a collection of stories and photos. There are many stories to tell about the people and history of Holy Name and if we begin collecting them now, we will have something to share with future parishioners.
Some ideas to write about include the first person you met, the first priest you knew, your favorite priest, your favorite story, the funniest thing you remember, the old church, moving to the new church, a memorable festival, party or event, changes in the school, the committees, and there is so much more! Please don't be afraid to start writing memories down now and don't forget to share them.
We would like to begin compiling our more recent history now, since it's a big job that will take some time. Send any stories or pictures to the Holy Name parish office marked "Memories of Holy Name." You may also submit your story below. Thanks for your help!
