“Turning Used Shoes Into Water”
Save lives with our Holy Name Social Justice Committee by giving your shoes the “Boot”!!
Bring your used shoes to Mass on the weekend of April 26 /27 and the Social Justice committee along with Shoeman Water Projects will turn your shoes into clean drinking water.
To participate, gather all the shoes you don’t wear anymore and rubber band or tie them together. Bring your shoes to our drop-off bin at back of church. We accept any kind of shoes as long as they don’t have holes. For more information about our Holy Name Social Justice committee shoe drive contact Mary Beth Barry at or 612-721-3430.

REMINDER: Now Available: Electronic Giving!
With our new electronic giving program, you can easily set up a recurring giving schedule or make one-time contributions.
We encourage you to set up a schedule of recurring contributions. It’s convenient for you and provides much-needed consistency for our church. If you are currently giving on a weekly basis, you will no longer need to write out 52 checks a year or prepare 52 envelopes.
To become an electronic giver, visit the on-line giving page on our website ( where you can create your profile or call the parish office for more information.
Rediscover Updates
Created as an ongoing initiative of the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis, Rediscover — calls Catholics of our local church to rediscover the depth and beauty of our Catholic faith and, in the process, find meaning and purpose in life, a sense of belonging, inner strength, true freedom and peace.
