Steve Lowther
In 1990, after singing in the choirs at Holy Name for a decade, I was presented with the challenge of coordinating the work of the contemporary (folk) group. When the position of choir director became available a year later, this task was added to my job description. Over the next few years, under the tutelage of then Pastor, Mike Anderson, I assumed responsibilities for a growing list of liturgical responsibilities. With the gracious help of many volunteers I am responsible for the liturgical environment as well as training and scheduling hospitality ministers, lectors, Eucharistic ministers, lay presiders and altar servers.
It has been my great privilege and honor to serve the community of Holy Name for the past 30 years.
