Family Faith Formation

Holy Name offers Family Faith Formation about once a month on Sunday right after the 9 am Mass.

(High school sessions meet at 12 pm on their scheduled days.)

  • Registration is now CLOSED for 2025-2026 school year. Check back in May for pre-registration for 2026-2027 school year.

  • How Family Faith Works
  • The first session of the series is always the adult session to help adults enrich their own understanding of the faith and help them prepare to bring the lesson home.
  • The second session of the series is always multigenerational family session with activities that are geared towards our younger members (Pre-K - 8th grade).
  • Due to calendaring and general family life, we may not always have a third or fourth session in the series.
  • This year, the third session is geared towards high school youth ministry and confirmation.
(Please note high school sessions are at 12 pm noon and will include a simple lunch.)
  • This year, the fourth session is geared towards First Sacraments check-in and the Order of Christian Initiation for Adults (OCIA) session.

  • Monthly lessons follow the Alive In Christ lesson year and we use this curriculum as our home enrichment curriculum for Pre-K - 5th Grade.

  • For Family Faith, we use the Faith Fusión (both elementary and junior high) curriculum with other resources woven in.

  • First Sacraments will use the homeschool curriculum Preparing to Receive Jesus in addition to the Alive in Christ and Faith Fusion Curriculum.

  • Confirmation will be using the R.E.A.L. Formation.
